Would your child be interested in hands-on STEM activities? If so, we'd love your input.

County Kids Club is exploring the possibility of launching a new STEM program for children ages 5–12, and rather than deciding what we think families want, we'd like to build it based on what you want to see.

Whether your child is interested in robotics, coding, engineering, science experiments, nature, or other STEM activities, we'd love to hear what excites them.

What kids will experience

A hands-on, inquiry-based environment where curiosity is celebrated and every experiment is a chance to discover something new.

Design and build structures, simple machines, and robots using age-appropriate kits and materials. Learn what works, what doesn't, and why.

Introduction to computational thinking through block-based coding, logic puzzles, and guided challenges that make programming accessible and fun.

Is the STEM program running yet?
Not yet — we're still in the planning stage and gathering input from local families before we build it. If you'd like a say in what it looks like, take our short survey.
Does my child need any prior experience with coding or robotics?
Not at all. Programs will be designed for beginners and structured so that kids with no prior experience can participate fully and confidently.
What age groups will STEM programs be for?
We're exploring a program for children ages 5–12, though the exact age breakdown may be refined based on survey feedback. Join the mailing list for updates.
Will kids need to bring their own devices or materials?
No — all materials, devices, and kits will be provided as part of the program. We'll share a full what-to-bring list when registration opens.
