Program Coach

Soccer Skills and Drills is led by Coach Alexa Gough, who brings a lifetime of playing and coaching experience to helping kids build real skills and fall in love with the game.

Alexa Gough
Alexa has played soccer since she was old enough to stand. As a youth, she played her club soccer with the North Shore Girls Soccer Association in Vancouver, BC. Once older, she also played for her junior and senior high school teams, winning multiple municipal and provincial titles. She continued to play at the collegiate level, culminating in the opportunity to play in Madrid, Spain, where she also coached at the adult level. Locally, Alexa has been a coach with PECSA since 2023, coaching youth ranging in ages from 4–10, and has sat on the PECSA Board since 2025.

Soccer Skills and Drills FAQ

Common questions about the program.

Does my child need soccer experience?
No. Drills are progressive and designed for every level — from kids trying soccer for the first time to those who already play on a team.
What should my child bring or wear?
Indoor running shoes with non-marking soles, shin guards, comfy clothes to move in, and a water bottle. We provide the soccer balls and equipment.
Can I stay and watch?
Yes — parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch. If you plan to drop off, please make sure we have your current contact details and arrive promptly for pick-up.
How many kids are in the program?
The program is capped at 20 kids so every child gets plenty of touches on the ball and individual coaching attention.
How do I register and pay?
We use YouthModo for registrations. Visit our registration portal to sign up — payment details are provided during that process.
