Program Instructors

The movement and fitness programs are organized and led by County Kids Club's founding team — four local parents and coaches who are passionate about kids, movement, and community.

Jess
Jessica Santos
Sports and movement have always brought me joy, connection, and confidence. As a mom to an active 3-year-old, I noticed there were few places for young kids to explore movement in a fun, supportive way — so we built one.
Lara
Lara Hilmi
Lara has a lifelong connection to sport that fuels her passion for helping children discover the joy of movement. She believes deeply in sport as a way to build confidence, leadership, and lasting friendships.
Mike
Michael Da Silva
A lifelong fitness enthusiast and former skateboarder turned cyclist, runner, and soccer player. Mike is passionate about longevity, healthy living, and helping kids find the activities that light them up.
Rob
Robert Spagnola
Former athlete, youth sports coach, personal trainer, and owner of The Gym in the Armoury. Rob brings expertise and genuine enthusiasm to every group he leads.

Movement & Fitness Program FAQ

Common questions about our movement and fitness programs.

My child is between age groups or has a birthday during the program. Which program should they join?
We recommend joining the program that best matches their current abilities and where you think they'll be most comfortable and engaged.
What equipment does my child need?
No special equipment needed. Just something comfortable to move around in and a clean pair of indoor running shoes.
Does my child need to be at a certain fitness level?
No minimum fitness level required. Activities are designed to be challenging but structured so every kid feels engaged and empowered to participate in a fun, supportive environment.
Do I drop my child off or stay with them?
A parent or guardian must stay for the duration of each class. You're welcome to jump in and help, or simply sit back and watch your child play!
What's the format of a typical session?
Each session starts with a quick team huddle to set goals and get everyone ready. After a warm-up, kids move through 3–5 fun activities, each about 8–12 minutes. We take water breaks and gather for mini huddles between activities to keep everyone refreshed and connected.
Are any snacks provided?
We provide a healthy snack after each class. Please make sure your child brings a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout.
What is the adult-to-child ratio?
The program is supported by 3–5 adult volunteers each week, ensuring a safe and well-supervised environment for all participants.
How do I pay for the program?
We use YouthModo for registrations. Visit our registration portal to sign up — payment details are provided during that process.
What if I have a question not covered here?
