Kids 1K Run FAQ

Common questions about this event.

Can I still register my child?
No — the Kids 1K Run took place on Saturday, October 3 and registration is now closed. We hope to see you at a future event!
What did registration include?
Each registered child received a race bib, a finisher's medal, and a post-race snack.
Was this a County Kids Club program?
Not exactly — the Kids 1K Run was a one-time event that County Kids Club co-organized alongside The County Marathon, rather than one of our ongoing programs. We were proud to present it as part of Race Weekend.
How did this event support County Kids Club?
$5 from every Kids 1K Run registration went directly to County Kids Club, helping fund our programs for local kids.
Did we need to fundraise to participate?
No — there was no fundraising required to participate. The $5 that supported County Kids Club was already built into the registration fee.
I have another question about the race weekend — who do I ask?
For registration or race-day logistics questions, reach out to The County Marathon directly. For anything specific to County Kids Club's involvement, email us at [email protected].
